The Importance of my role

Co-Director- As the co-director I will be partly responsible for the whole of the filming process. A film director visualizes the script, controlling a film's artistic and dramatic aspects, while guiding the technical crew and actors in the fulfillment of his or her vision. The director is meant to have a strong idea of the final look he is trying to achieve with the picture. A good director makes sure that he is always in control of the situation and it is his responsibility that ever shot is perfect. Every decision made by the crew has to be Okayed by the Director first. As working as a co-director I will not be able to make all of the decisions myself. If we disagree on points we will have to compromise. I think I would be good as a co-director  as I am  good at compromising if i don’t get what I want straight away. I am good at organizing and getting things done to a deadline and also have a strong idea of what I want to achieve from the picture.

Camera-man

A cameraman is in charge of the operation of the camera. This includes holding the shots for the desired amount of time and holding the shot still. As well as this the cameraman will collaborate with the director and creative directors to create the narrative and base the shots around what feel they would like. Due to the fact that camera operators know what works well on the screen they are often mistaken for directors due to there huge involvement in the creation. I think I would make a good cameraman because of my love for still photography. I have a good eye for composition and framing and know what looks good in that frame.
